It’s finally, officially time for some summer break fun. Thank God. The world is opening up, restrictions are falling away every day and your kids want to get out there like it is 2019. I wanted to share some things to do and have which are perfect for some summer break fun.
My family and I are jumping back into the travel world. Yay! Paris was AMAZING! We are planning trips to Universal Studios Orlando, Louisville, Kentucky and Palm Beach, Florida. Plus, we will have lots of summer break fun right here in Atlanta! We know the Covid-19 pandemic is not over though and we are all fully vaccinated. Check out products I found that help my family and I live smarter and easier and make the most of our summer break fun!
8 Things You Need For Summer Break Fun
9. a2 Hershey’s Milk
Since we are always traveling and moving we need on-the-go options. I was recently sent samples of Hershey’s a2 Chocolate Milk. It is the treat my kids look forward to the most. Made with premium ingredients like a1-free milk and cocoa, it is known for its easy digestion, flavor, and nutrients that will keep kids satisfied all day long. Don’t want chocolate milk? a2 also has 2% reduced-fat, whole, and fat-free milk options.
My kids absolutely LOVED having these single serve boxes instead of juice boxes in their camp lunches. And they were a great post-camp treat on the drive home.
2. Rollga foam roller, starting at $11.99
Rollga is a contoured foam roller designed to help you stretch all those tight muscles and relieve all those body aches. It targets muscles with greater precision than any other roller by digging deeper into muscles. It has helped me with flexibility and muscle pain release. After a day traipsing around a theme park or stuffed in a car driving to another tournament this foam roller has really helped me recover faster.
The Rollga foam roller is for those who need relief from back pain, shin splints, and general muscle soreness. For all of us who are ‘of a certain age’, these foam rollers are everything!
3. The Comfy, $39.99
The Comfy is a one-size fits all super, crazy soft wearable blanket. This is lightest, softest, and most comfy hooded blanket I’ve ever seen. The Comfy Dream is giant, fitting all ages, sizes and genders. It’s perfect for cool summer nights or dealing with the air-conditioning that is a little bit too cold.
4. Infamous Swim Swimwear, $69+
These Infamous Swim suits are adorable and very fashion-forward. The men’s trunks are slim fit like the kids are weafing them. They are a bit more fitted and are a little shorter than what you may be used to, but they are so cute! The brand is famous for twinning swimwear with their Mini Swim collection! Infamous carries an array of styles and matching accessories too. The best part is their mission to help everyone embrace their body no matter your size, gender or stage in life.
5. A Staycation, Hotel Colee, $175+
So you want to get away but those gas prices right? Whoa! A staycation in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood might be just the thing for some summer break fun. Last year we spent a few days at the posh Hotel Colee. The Marriott-owned hotel is super hip and sleek. I felt like one of the cool kids here for sure.
I loved that they offer connecting rooms as well as suites to give families extra room. The luxe linens and body products in the rooms were heavenly. We even got a couple of kid-free hours to hang out at the Bubbly Bar! Chocolate martinis for the win!
6. Nintendo Switch, $199+
I love the Nintendo Switch because it can help you spend quality time together as a family (or siblings) this summer. Or, it can give one of my teens or preteens the ability to tune it all out and have fun on their own. Whether we are at home, on the road, with friends, or during our long-awaited vacation, the Nintendo Switch is usually tagging along. I really want to try out the new Nintendo Switch Sports, the sequel to Wii Sports next. They have some other really fun Nintendo Switch games for summer 2022 too.
7. A [NEW] board game: Super Mario Monopoly, $29.99
I received the Super Mario Celebration Monopoly game just in time for summer. Players can buy, sell, trade, and scheme to win it all with iconic Super Mario artwork, characters, and themes. My kiddos loved the Question Block with the fun classic Super Mario sound effects. And I loved that we could play the game in under an hour!
8. A gift basket (for others or you), $19.99+
You deserve a treat. Your family deserves a treat. Why not surprise them with a yummy gourmet gift basket? GourmetGiftBaskets.com has a great new collection of gifts to match all kinds of families and their secret desires for delectable deliveries. Send one to the family you haven’t seen in months or send one to yourself. You’re worth it! Here are my 3 favorite gift baskets to send to yourself. The Baked Goods Sampler is a favorite. Nestled inside a sliding lid crate are scrumptious cookies, decadent brownies, and original chocolate and vanilla whoopie pies. Yum!
