Get Out of the House
Will you go trick-or-treating this year? If so, it might look different. Being outside will help but also practice social distancing, especially for the unvaccinated crowd. I love the fun Halloween masks that are out now which make for super easy costumes. and wear a mask.
6 Halloween Things to do in Atlanta
- Go to Six Flags Over Georgia HallowFest…if you dare. Head there during the day means tamer daytime thrills, and more fall-themed activities or come after dark for the terror-ific haunted attractions.
2. Head to Boo at the Zoo. Sample treats throughout the Zoo, and enjoy the sights, with more than 1,000 animals from around the world. Boo at the Zoo offers a one-way trick-or-treat path this year.
3. Get in the play at the College Football Hall of Fame. Come see the spooky sights and sounds of the Haunted Hall of Fame on October 30th and 31st! KIDS IN COSTUME (under 12) GET IN FREE! Experience all the Hall has to offer beyond paying tribute to college football’s greatest. You don’t have to like football to have fun here! Trust me. It’s a great family activity. 4. Visit one of these awesome Corn Mazes. I skip the haunted versions of this fun experience and stick with those that are guaranteed to be fun for the whole family!
5. Book a Howl-O-Ween package at Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, GA. This indoor waterpark resort is an extra fun destination during October. They offer lots of special events that are included with your stay. With the closing of the outdoor pools, now might be the perfect time to get your indoor water park action on.
6. Come to Brick or Treat at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta. The Halloween party built for kids is bringing back the spooktacular way to play with LEGO bricks! From October 30-31, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta Brick-Or-Treat transforms the ultimate indoor LEGO playground into the perfect Halloween spot to build family memories. There are lots of tricks & treats in the fantastic fall event included with admission.
Eat All The Candy
Yes. I said it. Go ahead and buy the candy you always want your kids to collect while trick or treating. It’s 2020, y’all. Eat the peanut butter cups. Sorry. Not sorry.
