I recently attended a week of TEAM Burn Training at Life Time Athletic – Atlanata. I found the group fitness training program is a great way to define a healthy way of life. It was hard. But it was a good kind of hard, a ‘do-able’ kind of hard. I sure burned some crazy calories too!

When you are ready, you can move up to TEAM Cut. This next level group fitness training helps participants move beyond the basics to help them achieve total body transformation. It focuses on cardio conditioning, total body strength training and a motivating, driven community.

Want to step it up? No problem. Join TEAM Bootcamp if you’re looking for a competitive community that thrives on intense challenges to elevate overall fitness and endurance. It includes limit-pushing cardio and strength-training circuits. Get ready.
Group Fitness Training: TEAM Alpha
Do you consider yourself an elite athlete? Are you one of the total studs at the gym, oh there’s a group fitness training program for you too. TEAM Alpha offers Olympic lifting, strength training, and athletic movement for results at the highest, most physical level. I often see professional athletes training at Life Time Athletic – Atlanta so they definitely know what they are doing!
My TEAM Burn Experience
I tried the new TEAM Burn classes at Life Time fitness for a week. What a fun week! I looked forward to the Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes and found that I got a very intense workout. The workout was modified for every person so we each received an optimized training session.
Miguel, the super engaging coach knew exactly how to keep my heart rate in the maximum fat burning zone with both cardio and strength exercises. He also gave mini lessons on nutrition, motivation and technique that I could take with me long after the hour was over. Unlike one-on-one training which can be expensive and a bit lonely, the TEAM Burn classes were fun and they are way more affordable than you may think! I loved the motivation that came from being part of a team.
COMMITMENT Day 5K 2018
Want to get 2018 started off right? Why not run into the new year? Join in the sixth annual Commitment Day 5K Fun Run as well as other club events which will be happening on January 1, 2018 at Life Time destinations nationwide. The motivation will continue throughout the weekend during Commitment Weekend filled with healthy, fun and engaging activities to help participants help and keep healthy way of life commitments to themselves, their families and their community. Bring the whole family to Commitment Day 2018. Kids 12 and under are FREE with a paid adult ($35).
