When you are looking for the best Washington DC hotels, the Kimpton Brand has some awesome options. I visiting this Spring and stayed in Hotel Madera located in Washington DC’s Dupont Circle. I found it to be the best hotel for people who don’t really want to stay in a hotel.
What is Dupont Circle?
Washington DC is one of my most favorite cities to visit. And Dupont Circle is one of my favorite neighborhoods to stay in. It is the most fun, eclectic neighborhood in a city full of fun, eclectic neighborhoods. It is glamorous brownstones on Embassy Row and lovely green spaces in the public parks and squares. There is always something to do there, and even better, people to see! Pull up a park bench and get your people watching on!
Kimpton Hotel Madera
Located in the heart of Dupont Circle, on a quiet, tree-lined street, Kimpton Hotel Madera is a bright social hub in such an exciting neighborhood. It is also conveniently within walking distance to uptempo shopping, dining, and nightlife scenes. This elegant hotel is also just six blocks from the White House, eight blocks from the National Mall, and 1.5 miles from the convention center.
Kimpton Hotel Madera is a warm haven in the nation’s capital. It’s like a calm oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the urban jungle. Handcrafted and naturally comfortable throughout, the hotel lives up to its Spanish moniker: Madera, or refined timber. A crafted, woodsy aura infuses the entire experience, from the homey restaurant Firefly to spacious guest rooms and suites with balconies. Some even have bunk beds. This is one of the best Washington DC hotels because of its thoughtful amenities, fantastic location and the whimsical, inviting Kimpton personality for which the brand is known.
