You may or may not know that I played Division I college basketball (go UIC Flames!). It feels like a spent a good portion of my life on the blacktop or in the gym. And most summers of my childhood starting from the age of 11, I was able to attend many basketball camps that helped me gain new skills and increase my basketball knowledge and confidence in myself. However, I wasn’t able to attend the basketball camp put on by the NBA team in my hometown…girls weren’t allowed.

What to Expect at Atlanta Hawks Basketball Camp?
I’m excited for my children to attend the Atlanta Hawks basketball camp. This is the ultimate basketball summer camp experience for the youth of Georgia! Different sites throughout the metro Atlanta area host this summer camp to make it convenient for just about everyone. Each camp offers players of ALL skill levels the opportunity of a lifetime to learn from the pros. The camp is for boys and girls (!) between the ages of 6 to 16.
All participants will receive professional instruction from qualified coaches in a fun environment. Atlanta Hawks basketball camp lets campers participate in basketball fundamental training. Summer camps sessions include time going through skills, drills, and competitions. Campers will also play 5-on-5 games and receive their Jr. Hawks participation certificate upon completion of camp. Camp will run from 9 am to 3 pm Monday through Thursday throughout the summer.
