Disclosure: I was given tickets to this show for free in order to review it. Those tickets didn’t influence my opinions.
I loved the new family film, Mr. Peabody & Sherman! It was cute and funny and there was NO bad guy! Yay for that! In addition to making the parents laugh with humor that was was funny yet totally appropriate if a kid understood it, my kids laughed at the general silliness. I loved that there was no potty humor. No crassness. No using words like “stupid” or “shut up”. But the best part was that it was an educational film cleverly disguised as a super entertaining kids movie. Brilliant.
The historical information, all spot-on of course, led for some interesting conversations later on about Trojan Horses and King Tut and the French Revolution. Come on…my kids were asking me about Marie Antoinette! If that’s not a good movie I don’t know what is. Plus it was had a heart-warming message and was short enough so my three year old could sit through it without having to go to the bathroom once. Yes!
Go check it out. I dare you not to laugh.
