My family and I were invited to spend a Saturday at the Rock Ranch in Rock, GA, about 70 miles outside of Atlanta. I wasn’t required to post about it but I couldn’t NOT post about our fantastic experience at the Fall Family Fun Day. My husband was called out of town to attend a funeral but I decided to go ahead and take all 4 kids by myself. And I’m glad I did. It was awesome.
The Rock Ranch is a beautiful 1,500 acre cattle ranch that has perfected the term “agritourism.” The Rock Ranch was founded by the late S. Truett Cathy of Chick-fil-A and is dedicated to “Growing Healthy Families”! The Rock Ranch is packed full of excitement, fun, and adventure. This is a memory-making place. Train rides, zip lines, jumping pillows, corn maze, peddle cars, cane pole fishing, paddle boats, and horse rides are just a few of the attractions that are fun for the whole family. The Rock Ranch also has fresh produce, homemade ice cream, and delicious barbecue. It is truly a place for families to get outside and just have fun together.
Want to get even more bang for your buck? Go on one of the Fall Family Fun Days (Saturdays until November 15) for themed-entertainment like Hot-Air Balloon Rally (October 18), the Not-So-Scary Halloween Festival (October 25), or Farm Heritage Days (November 15). And be sure to stop by your local Chick Fil A for discount coupons to The Rock Ranch.
Check out all the photos from our little trip to The Rock Ranch. And did I tell you I took all 4 kids, ages 7, 6, 4, and 2) BY MYSELF. It was hard but fun, and I’m so glad I did. Sometimes you just need to not be scared and go do it!
