After a thrilling win where Apollos Hester’s team overcame a 14-point deficit at halftime to defeat Vandegrift High, 42-41, he turned a typical post-game interview with TWC News Austin into an epic inspirational show, delivering lessons applicable to life as well as football.
“It’s an awesome feeling when you truly believe that you’re going to be successful regardless of the situation…Win or lose, we decided it was going to be OK. We were going to be alright. We were going to keep smiling.”
