7 top tips for finding the best summer camp for your kids.
Summer is right around the corner…yikes! Do you have your summer camp plans done yet? If you said no then Thank You because I don’t either. One camp I do know for sure my kids are attending is the Atlanta Hawks basketball camp. My four kids went to two weeks last year and loved it!
What makes the Hawks basketball camp stand out?
1. It is well coached.
The coaches are not high school kids or people who just needed a job. They are current or former collegiate players. Some of them spent time in the pros. And man, they know their stuff. They all are great with the kids though. I especially like that they have many female coaches!
2. Everyone is welcome.
At the Hawks basketball camp, if you are between the ages of 6 and 16, you’re welcome. Girls. Boys. AAU all stars. First time players. They do a really good job of teaching to all levels.
3. They help kids love basketball.
Some of my kids loved the games each day. Some looked forward to the different contests. My daughter loved the special speakers (like current Hawks players). Through the variety of options, the Hawks camp really helps kids develop a love of basketball. And they help instill a passion for the sport that I hope never fades.
