My family and I stayed at the Gaylord Palms resort in Orlando over Father’s Day weekend. It was so nice! We had connecting rooms which is more expensive of course but for a family of 5, it’s almost necessary now. We planned to do a lot of things around Orlando as well as visit family there but the truth is we didn’t want to leave the resort. It has everything there! We did go to Disney World one day and the kids wanted to go back to the hotel to go to the pool.
We were there for a family trip obviously, but they don’t just cater to families. With a South Beach adults-only pool and several 21+ clubs and bars, there is something for the swinging singles (or Moms and Dads pretending to be swinging singles). Room rates start under $200 and you can often find them close to $100 depending on the day of the week and time of the year so it’s reasonable for most families. You can compare this hotel to the Ritz-Carlton or the Waldorf-Astoria as far as luxury. It’s that nice. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who finds themselves in Orlando.
