9 Eyelash Extensions Tips for a Fabulous Face
1. Make a follow-up appointment immediately.
Keep in mind, eyelash extensions are an ongoing service. Don’t spend the time and money of getting extensions and then not get a refill. The technicians at The Lash Lounge Sandy Springs suggest refills every 2 to 3 weeks.
2. Allow enough time to get your eyelash extensions service done.
It takes a bit of time to get luscious lashes! Plan on it taking about two hours for your initial eyelash extensions service. A refill only takes 45 to 60 minutes though.
3. Limit water exposure.
While it is perfectly acceptable to swim, shower, and get your eyelashes wet, know that these activities may shorten the life of your extensions. Some may see no difference though.

4. Follow the aftercare instructions.
Be sure to listen to your technician after your service to hear all the instructions. And then follow them! Also, consider purchasing the products they recommend to help maintain your new eyelashes.
5. Don’t rub your eyes.
Try your hardest not to rub your eyes, even when allergies come calling! Also, don’t clean your lashes or the area around your eyes as that will certainly decrease the longevity of your eyelash extensions.
6. Put away the eyelash curler.
You won’t need to manually curl your eyelashes while you have eyelash extensions. If you do, you will shorten their lifespan.
7. Ditch the mascara.
Save yourself some time in the morning. There will be no need for mascara. Waterproof mascara is especially harmful. If you absolutely have to add mascara, just don’t apply it along the length of your eyelash extensions. Only use it on the tips of your eyelashes.
8. Avoid harsh cleansers.
Don’t use any cleansers that include oil. Just keep it nice and easy.
9. Don’t test your eyelashes.
