Remember way back, like 5 days ago, when it was too cold to go to school? Remember when the news talked about how quickly a person could get frostbite if they didn’t have the proper clothing? Remember how you bundled your own kids up? Well now you can do something to help kids who don’t have coats to keep them warm on cold winter days. Please join me and some of my favorite bloggers and social media enthusiasts for Fulton County Chairman John Eaves Children’s Coat Drive to benefit the Atlanta Day Shelter for Women & Children. Bring your donations of clean, gently used children’s coats and join us as we give back to local children in our community in need of warm clothing this winter. Plus, I’ve been assured it’s going to be a FUN event and children are welcome! (It is at a McDonald’s after all.) For more information and to RSVP, see the event page online.
