Downtown Atlanta Restaurants for Father’s Day
1. Wood’s Chapel BBQ invites families to celebrate dad the old-fashioned way. The Summerhill eatery offers an array of barbecue options from pork, ribs, prime brisket, salmon, chicken, turkey, homemade sausage, all the fixins’ and dessert. Order online for pickup and delivery.
2. Families can take dad to Hot Dog Pete’s to enjoy delicious takes on this all-American staple. The eatery will be open 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
Hot Dog Pete’s knows what dad wants for Father’s Day: to grill out and drink beer. The Summerhill eatery satisfies with its Pete’s Pack featuring a choice of six ready-to-grill custom-blended hot dogs, fresh buns from Alon’s Bakery and all the classic toppings for $29.99. Packs can be pre-ordered online for pickup and delivery.
3. Hero Doughnuts & Buns is not all about the dough. The Summerhill cafe shows off its variety of menu items with breakfast and lunch buns, as well as coffee, cocktails and beer.
For Father’s Day the shop is offering its new Dad’s 6-Pack for grilling Hero burgers at home. Each $39.99 box includes six ground beef patties from Inland Seafood, six house-made brioche buns, a bottle of Hero’s famous Cracked Sauce and all the Hero burger toppings.
4. How Crispy Express brings fried chicken to a new level. Families are encouraged to bring dad to experience the Summerhill eatery’s fried chicken sandwiches, salads and sweets. Online ordering is available.
5. Halfway Crooks invites dad and man’s best friend to enjoy cold beer at its rooftop and biergarten under the elms. 6. 5Church Midtown is a place to “stay sexy” and enjoy a Father’s Day dinner with flair The prestigious Midtown location is featuring the 5Church lamb burger layered with red onion marmalade, Gorgonzola fondue, arugula and secret sauce on a brioche bun and served with hand-cut fries ($16). 5Church offers many steak options as well as a posh brunch. Eastside Atlanta Restaurants for Father’s Day
7. Why not chill out for Father’s Day with all-day Sunday brunch at Slabtown Public House? The new dining destination from Red Beard Restaurants is the perfect place to bring dad for refreshing drinks and brunch delights such as The Slabburger with roasted green chilis, colby jack cheese and garlic butter on a brioche bun ($20) and fresh baked cinnamon rolls ($8). Sunday all-day brunch hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Westside Atlanta Restaurants for Father’s Day
8. The Woodall gives dad all the sophisticated Southern luxury he can handle. Whatever time of the day it may be, there are plenty of choices for the family including serious steak and eggs, breakfast tacos and pigs in a blanket to name a few. Weekend brunch starts at 10:30 a.m. with dinner beginning at 4 p.m.. Reservations are encouraged.
9. Zunzi’s South African-inspired cuisine features sandwiches, bowls, salads and wraps. For a before outing meal, dad will love the award-winning Conquistador with French bread, chicken, romaine lettuce, tomato, provolone, Parmesan, Zunzi’s sauce and Zunzi’s dressing ($12.99) or Fisherman’s Deck with French bread, salmon, romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, dank sauce, Zunzi’s sauce, Zunzi’s dressing ($12.99).
Buckhead Restaurants for Father’s Day
10. Father’s Day diners can catch some mouthwatering seafood at The Big Ketch Saltwater Grill. Open regular hours on Father’s Day, the Buckhead eatery showcases its coastal-inspired cuisine including a featured surf and turf burger with blackened Gulf shrimp, Creole mayonnaise, shredded lettuce and white cheddar cheese ($22.95).
11. Gypsy Kitchen offers dad cultural Spanish riches influenced by Moroccan and Indian traditions. The Buckhead Village eatery opens at noon for reservations with a live flamenco guitarist in the afternoon. The classic menu will be available as well as a chef feature of roasted harissa chicken, saffron rice, apricot chutney and za’atar labneh ($34).
12. Families can shower dad with love and bourbon at The Southern Gentleman this Father’s Day. This Southern-inspired gastropub in Buckhead Village is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. with a specially crafted three-course prix-fixe menu priced at $59 per adult and $29.50 per child (excluding tax and gratuity).
