I hate New Year’s resolutions. They are usually big and broad and impossible to keep. What seems like a good idea on December 31 tends to be just another example of failure by January 3rd.

3. Work out more.
You don’t need to run a marathon or start a couch-to-5k program. Just work out this week more than you did last week. How many steps do you average? Try to average more. Do you play a sport? Can you squeeze in 15 more minutes of practice? Are you already a gym rat? Then this is not one of the best New Year’s resolutions for you. Don’t overdo it.
