|The Grilled Market Salad looks so yummy!|
With bathing suit season right around the corner, I was intrigued when my friends at the perennial fast food giant, Chick Fil A, told me they were revamping their salad and wrap menu and they wanted to send me some coupons to try the items. I have to admit I’m not really a salad person (shh…I know). I usually go for the chargrilled chicken sandwich with a side of waffle fries…maybe a mini sundae for dessert. Mmmm. But I digress…where was I? Oh yeah, trying to fit into my pre-baby clothes. So…I’m about to become a salad eater and Chick Fil A is going to help me.
Here are some highlights on the four new, fresh healthier options:
Asian Salad: This salad includes two cups of vegetables: carrots, cabbage, and mandarin oranges…oh my.
Grilled Market Salad: Two servings of vegetables, one serving of fruit, only 4 grams of fat and under 200 calories! The fresh strawberries, blueberries, and apples look so good!
Cobb Salad: While not the healthiest salad out there (22 grams of fat), it does have two cups of vegetables, and is an excellent source of vitamins A and C. My husband tried it and loved it!
Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap: There are a whopping 38 grams of protein and 60% of the daily value for fiber!
